Adding category to new post – making it easy for a new user

  If I try ‘New post’ from top of screen, I get no drop down list of categories that I’ve already created, so it looks inmpossible to allocate category to a new post coming from this direction.
  I know that I can do it if I go via DAshboard>POst> New BUT I want to encourage new users of this blog to post and categorise easily

  I understand what you want, but thanks to changes made by staff in the past 24 hours, it just doesn’t work that way.
