Adding category widget on homepage

  Hey all! This is probably a total newbie question but I’ve been trying to track down the answer for about an hour now, so is my last resort. Im creating a blog with the Suburbia theme and I want to add a couple categories on my homepage. When I make the category widget it ends up under my About page. Even when I delete the About widget! So confused, any ideas?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Neither the blog linked to your username nor the blog linked to in the OP are wearing that theme.

  Please post an active link starting with http:// to the exact blog you refer to.

  Oops! Sorry about that. WordPress added that bit at the end automatically. My new blog is here. As you can see my “Mexico” category has fallen under my About page.
