Adding chess games to a blog?

  Hopefully I am posting this in the right place. I have a chess blog and am trying to add chess games to it to enable readers to replay the games on the screen. Are there any plugins or widgets that enable wordpress.com users to do this? A chess blog is not much good if you can’t post chess games to it! Any help would be appreciated.

  You can go here: http://www.jeuxclic.com/jeux.php?id=9828 , copy the HTML and embed the game into a page or a post. I haven’t tested it, but it may work for you.

  The code at that site is flash and flash is not allowed here due to security concerns. Javascript is not allowed for the same reason.

  Thanks for the responses. I guess that means its not possible to do this on wordpress.com so the only option I have is to move the blog to wordpress.org?

  Yes, that is your best option. There are instructions in the Support pages on how to do that.

  Flash is notoriously insecure, and because our blogs share their guts with all the other blogs on any particular theme, allowing it would expose people to the greatest risk deemed acceptable by the stupidest or least-informed person using that theme. That’s too great a risk. On the WP.Org platform, you expose only yourself to any given risk.
