adding clothing combinations

Hi there. I sell motorcycle apparel and I want to list a jersey & pants combination. The problem (for me at least) is that I have different quantities of sizes in all items, so if i had 2 Med,7 Lge,4 XL in jerseys and then 4 of size 30 pants, 8 size 32 pants, 10 size 34 pants etc, I wont oversell the lowest quantity item.
So if one customer buys a med/size 30 combination, another customer buys a med/size 32 combination, what would prevent a third customer buying a med/size 30 combination (none left of the med jesrsey but listed as a combination with other variations/sizes.
