Adding code for statcounter

    I’m used to posting code into the templates but wordpress doesn’t have templates, so where is one supposed to paste the code?

    WordPress DOES have templates (themes), unfortunately we mere mortals can’t edit them. This is because they are shared themes and would affect every user.

    You have a text widget in your theme. You can try putting it in there but WP does strip lots of HTML and Javascript citing security risks.

    There’s also a post within the FAQ about how to add SiteMeter to your site as a link.

    The themes are currently shared by all users accross the server so that if you were able to edit the theme, you would be editing it for everybody.
