Adding comments section

I want to add a comments section on a page in my website. I’ve looked for it as an option in the ‘add block’ button while editing, but I don’t seem to be able to find the right option, or I’m not looking in the right place. For context, this is a memorial website for my grandpa, who recently passed away, and due to the pandemic, we are creating this website as a way to memorialize him instead of holding a large, in-person funeral. On this page in the website, it is intended to be the ‘guestbook’ portion, where people who visit the site can sign their name, as a way to let others know they were ‘there.’ So I want to add a comments section, so that visitors to the page can enter and post their name.

    Hi,

    Sorry for your loss.
I am a volunteer. I did find a guestbook option but that is for a wedding website.

I have asked for a staff member to help you since they may know of an option for a guestbook I don’t know. Please wait for them to reply.

  • Hi there,

What is the URL of the site and the specific page you’re working on?

Comments are not added to page content via a block. Comments are activated on the page itself, via the document settings panel in the editor sidebar in the Discussion section, and will appear below the page content on the published page.
