Adding contact me/email me button
-
Hi,
I’m trying to add a button to allow readers to email me. I’ve tried a couple of different ways but I think the problem is my basic lack of html knowhow. I am currently trying on on addressmunger.com. I have created the link, but don’t know how to add it to my blog. It says: “Copy everything in this first text area and paste it to the top of your page, just after the <head> tag:” and then gives me some code. Where do I go to paste this? Thanks!!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello there. Will you please post the entire code into this forum thread? To do that you will have to place the code between backticks here. The backtick` is on the same key as the tilde ~ only in lower case. That key is ttto the left of the number 1 key on your keyboard. The format for posting the code so we can see all of it is:

There is an alternative that you may not be aware of that works very well. We can use the short code to place a contact form for readers on a static page and when they use it we recieve it by email. > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/

Once you have created your static Page and entered the text you want in it using the Visual Editor, it’s time to switch to the HTML Editor and enter the shortcode. It’s important to know that you must type the shortcode onto the static page [contact-form] rather than copying and pasting it, or it will not work. Don’t forget to click “Publish” when you are done.~~ waving to ifantasyrace :)
