Adding / Copying my blog link to Facebook.

  Hi, for some reason I can’t copy the WordPress blog link to Facebook, it says there is an error in doing so. In addition, when I try to link WordPress to Facebook it only gives me the option to connect to a page I manage for a client not my personal one, despite using my log in. It’s working on Twitter. I’ve tried lots of different ways to copy the link but it’s just not working :0( Any ideas?

  Hi there. I think you are saying that when trying to paste your blog URL into a post it is generating an error? Try visiting https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ and paste your URL and hit the debug button. If it generates an error can you please reply with the error message?

  We can’t review this website because the content doesn’t meet our Community Standards. If you think this is a mistake, please let us know.

  Thats the error msg.. Any ideas??

  The content was about what I took away from seeing Michelle Obama at the O2 on Sunday night – nothing contentious in it at all!

  I’ve just started getting that as well. Facebook have been very silent about the whole thing which is awful. There was no warning. Here’s what I know so far:

  * Facebook have banned my link http://wp.me/pDvRh-DJ
  * They give the same message about “doesn’t meet our community standards”
  * It’s a perfectly mundane page
  * the full link that it expands to is not blocked (go figure!)
  * Facebook have deleted (hidden?) over 60 events whose description included the link!!!!!
  * I can’t post it anywhere
  * In the Facebook Help Centre, I can’t even post http://wp.me without it saying that’s a blocked link, but I *can* use that URL as a post or event description.

  I need my events back!
