Adding copyright to my blog

    Hi there,

    I am using the Sela theme, and starting a blog off with the ‘free’ version for the time being. I want to copyright my material, but can’t figure out how to do so. Could you please advise?

    Hello,

    The WordPress.com Prevent Content Theft documentation recommends adding copyright information to your sidebar so it is always visible. The footer area of your blog is another option.

    You can add copyright information to your blog by creating a text widget in your sidebar. The Sela theme also provides you with three optional footer widget areas.

    You can access your widgets from My Sites → Customize. This takes you to the Customizer, where you’ll be able to add and configure widgets for your site in the Widgets area.
