Adding countdown clock

  I am trying to add a countdown clock to a page.
  I add as text to page, but when I check it just shows up as text on the visual panel.
  This also happens when I try to add animations.
  Where ams I going wrong?

  Why don’t you use a widget from WordPress directly.
