Adding counter from widget section – how?

  Hi,
  I tried adding the counter from the widget section to the default sidebar by dragging and placing it there. This removed the side bar though. How do i keep my existing side bar and also add the counter?

  Once you’ve tweaked the sidebar at all, you start from scratch. Just add those widgets in; they’re all in the widget box and available.

  Thanks Raincoaster. I tried this but how do i locate the different categories I have created, the different sections etc? Once it disappears from the sidebar, I dont see it in the widget box.
