'Adding Custom Link' is not working for me

  Hi,

  I want one of my menu tabs to link directly to another website and for that I followed the procedure described in the ‘Adding Custom Link’ section of the following support page on Custom Menus: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/; however, despite following each step carefully and saving the menu it is not working (I also tried rearranging my navigation tabs from there – not working either). Do you know any solution to my problem?
  I would like to avoid creating a new page saying “click here to go to…” as much as possible.
