Adding date to blog on homepage

  Hi
  Could you please tell me how I can add the date of the blog post above the summary text of the blog? For example in the most recent blog above “The lives of citizens…”. Aligned to the left with the same font? I don’t want this to show on the actual blog page though.

  Hi, on Gather, the date div does not exist on the main page posts. CSS is a styling document used by browsers to position and style the elements of a web page. It cannot be used to add things, such as the date on your main page. That would require editing of the theme php script files, and you cannot do that at WordPress.com.
