Adding demo contact and about pages to my site

  Hi, i have just started to use WordPress to create a blog. I’m trying to add an about page and contact page. I can see the demo ones but i cant edit them, i can only create blank pages. Is it possible to use the demo pages as a template to work from or is it only the home page where this can be done? The site is not yet published.

  Hi there,
  You can add the page layout according to the demo you choose.
  You can visit here to know details about the page layouts https://wordpress.com/support/page-layouts/#introduction-to-page-layouts

  After choosing any one layout you can edit them, add new blocks on those pages too. So, choose any one of the layouts and click on the block you want to edit.

  Thank you.

  I’ll take a look at that. I could see the demo examples but it wouldn’t allow me to edit them direct. I’ll try it via the add page links above and start a new one.
