Adding Description to Categories

    As you can see on my blog https://adamharkusblog.wordpress.com I have my menu which displays post for different categories (Music, Goa Trip etc).

    The problem is, when I go into the page of posts for the Category, I have a header (Category; Music) for example, but nothing else. It would be really great to have some sort of category description if that’s possible.

    Is there a way do display the category description to introduce the post or am I going about this the wrong way?

    You can add a description to every category you have. Just go to the Category editor select a category and add a description (it’s the last field). If you wish to remove the Category: name-of-category title you’ll need to use Custom CSS.
