Adding Description to Category/Archive

  Is there a theme for wordpress.com and/or a way to include the category description at the top of the category page?

  I realize that wordpress.org lets you do this, but I set up my blog here and hope there is a way to do this.

  No I’m sorry but there is not. All free hosted WordPress.com blogs wearing the same theme are using the same underlying template. What can be done on WordPress.org installs is different as the WordPress.com runs on different code.
