  to pages with visuals. I had no problem getting the photos in there, but now I need to add text. Thanks.

  You’ve used the Gallery feature, so you have two options:
  1. Add short captions to your thumbnails. This will appear right under the thumbnail image.
  2. Add descriptive text to your photos. This will appear on the Attachment page that opens after clicking on the thumbnail image.

  Both can be done directly in the Media Library. http://support.wordpress.com/media/
