Adding "designed by" at bottom of page.

    Hello.
    This is the first time im using WordPress and im having some problem with adding my own name at the very bottom of the page.
    I have absolutely zero knowledge about code languages.

    I’ve read around the forum and i think the way to change or add more text is to use the CSS option. But i can’t get it working.
    The homepage i did is called Vikensfiske.com, and the theme im using is “Hemmingway rewritten”

    Im very gratefull for any advice!

    Hi!

    I am glad to try to help you to use WordPress. It’s an amazing CMS and I’m sure you will soon fall in love with ;)

    First thing you need to know is there is a language called CSS that helps you to modify aspect of your pages/posts. Each theme/blog has a lot of CSS rules to define aspect and you can modify /add more rules with Custom Design, which is feature of the WordPress.com Premium and WordPress.com Business plans. (You have more info about using CSS in a WordPress.com blog, here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/?s=css). As a resume, you need to add a little bit of CSS Magic at your CSS tab in custom design menu.

    With CSS you can add text after or before several other elements, and you can use this. This is the code you need to paste (changing HOLA MUNDO by your desired text) to your CSS menu

    .site-info:before {
	content:"HOLA MUNDO! | ";
}

    Ah! If you want this text in the same color as the other links, you should add another line:

    .site-info:before {
	content:"HOLA MUNDO! | ";
	color: rgb(207, 158, 56);
}
