Hi team, I got this email today and I have no idea where to even begin. We are using Go Daddy as our hosting service. Think you could provide me with some more information or direction?

Please find the details here below to the new domain name :

In order to better authentificate the package / emails sent to models and clients,

Please ask your IT provider to add the following DNS records on your domain name :

    1. SPF/TEXT RECORD: (if you already have a SPF record please merge with this one, do not create a new one)

    bdmmagency.com TXT ‘v=spf1 include:em3314.bdmmagency.com ~all’

    2. DOMAIN WHITE LABEL:
Please create the CNAME records below, and inform us when it’s done.

    em3314.bdmmagency.com CNAME u21486879.wl130.sendgrid.net
    s1._domainkey.bdmmagency.com CNAME s1.domainkey.u21486879.wl130.sendgrid.net
    s2._domainkey.bdmmagency.com CNAME s2.domainkey.u21486879.wl130.sendgrid.net
    url8774.bdmmagency.com CNAME sendgrid.net
    21486879.bdmmagency.com CNAME sendgrid.net

The site I need help with is [visible only to staff] (email visible only to moderators and staff). It is not hosted by WordPress.com or connected with Jetpack. This site is not linked to my WordPress.com account.

WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.

You can find more information here about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

The WordPress.org forums are a great resource for sites using the open source WordPress.org software, and you can find support for that at: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting

You can also reach out to your host for help with this. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and would likely be the best ones to advise on how you need to set your new domain up.

    I hope that clarifies things.
