  i have already a domain.how can i map my wp site to my own domain? the instruction in support redirects me to purchase premium.

  If you already have domain purchased somewhere, you can map the existing domain to wp.com site.

  You either need to purchase domain mapping feature which cost $13 or purchase a premium plan ($99) which include domain mapping feature in it for free.

  Once you have purchased, follow the instruction on this page:

  if you want to buy domain mapping you need to have a site here on WordPress.COM before you can buy any upgrade

  I went to the url given but it seems to be not working.

  If you don’t have lots of content, you can create a new blog at wordpress.com
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/create-a-blog/

  the blog you create will have .wordpress.com domain, e.g. if you choose ‘foodhighways’, it will be:
  foodhighways.wordpress.com

  Once you finish populating the blog with content and you wish to use certain domain, like foodhighways.com, you can buy the domain from wordpress admin dashboard, or if you already have domain purchased somewhere, you can purchase domain mapping feature which cost $13.
