Adding domain, a few questions.

Read Google Webmasters Link schemes section very carefully. It applies to all sites aggregators too.

In the past in the Off-Topic Forum I explained reciprocal linking. Simply stated reciprocal links are based on an agreement by two sites (two way) to link to each other. Reciprocal linking is often used by small sites as a way to increase Web site traffic and link popularity. However, if you plan to enter such arrangements then it’s important to understand the implications and the realities. If your posts and site get a lot of reciprocal (two-way links), especially if they are not related then the search engines will assume that these are solicited links, and search engines do not give much importance to such two-way or reciprocal links and may even penalize your site.
-
If you enter a two-way reciprocal linking agreement with a site that sells links then Google may panalize your site. In fact when I answered questions on another blogging forum where most bloggers were Blogger (blogpsot) bloggers what I experienced is that their sites were banned by Google for that practice. Their sites were also for click fraud.

edit: “panalize” was meant to be “penalize”
edit: I left out a word above: “Their sites were also banned for click fraud.” -
Thanks TT for explaining it further. And I was stupidly going to purchase traffic from alexa.

@hnsaifi, interesting that you should mention that. Apparently, buying traffic is even suggested by WordPress.com. See here:

Web applications like StumbleUpon can bring visitors to your posts with rates starting at $.05 per visit. If you’ve just published a great post and you really want some feedback from visitors, this can be a good way to get the ball rolling.Companies that are looking for broader distribution of their posts, including getting their content in front of journalists, may want to try services from companies such as PR Newswire.

Does this mean giving your paid ads to the outside wordpress is also included in it.
In the contest here either TT is wrong or wordpress (Or it’s me).
