adding domain to my free site

  I have paid to go daddy to buy a site domain. I am unable to add it for free to my wordpress site. please help

  Hi there,

  Unfortunately, you can only use a custom domain with a WordPress.com paid plan, even if you’ve already bought it somewhere else.

  Choose a WordPress.com Plan

  You will need at least the Personal plan.

  Then you will be able to either map your domain (manage the domain on Go Daddy and create content on WordPress.com), or transfer it (manage everything on WordPress.com).
