Adding Email through Zoho Mail
-
I’m trying to add an email through Zoho mail. The instructions listed both on WordPress & Zoho show a box that I’m supposed to copy & paste code into. WordPress refers to this box as a “large blank area” and says: “In the large blank area, enter CNAME followed by a space, and then paste in the code beginning with zb… that you copied in step 4 above.” And Zoho says “The DNS editor of WordPress is a plain blank editor.” However, when I go to “Edit DNS” as instructed, I don’t see a box or a large blank area to paste the text. As a matter of fact, the wording is different than what the instructions say. So how do I add my email with Zoho?

Hi there,
Sorry about that! I just updated the support guide:

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Thank you!!! That’s very helpful! :) A few more questions though: in step 9 for the text field after “alias of” is it just supposed to say domain.zoho.zom? Or is it supposed to actually have my domain name (i.e. nextdestinationunknown.zoho.com)? Or…is it supposed to be zmverify.zoho.com (the “Value / Points To / Destination” provided by Zoho)? If you look at Zoho’s instructions for adding an email with WordPress, it has zmverify.zoho.com after the zb****** code, so it looks like zb12345678 zmverify.zoho.com. Does that make a difference?

Hi there,
From my knowledge, it should be .domain.zoho.com. :) Currently, we have our users entering domain.zoho.com. and it is working for them.
So it should be zb12345678.nextdestinationunknown.com in the first field and .domain.zoho.com in the second field.
