Adding events to my page

  Hi

  I arrange dive trips and i’d like them to be listed on the page. The ideal senario would be to have my facebook events show up on my wordpress page.

  Do you know how I can do this? Is there a plugin I can use?
  How do I add this to my page?

  There is an “Upcoming Events” widget you can use. More information here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/upcoming-events/. Just be sure the time zone on your calendar, each event, and on your site is set to your correct time zone. Hope this helps!

  Hi

  I’ve found this already, but its not quite what i’m looking for. It still means I would need to create an event twice in two different places. Rather than creating and managing through the facebook page.

  Hi there, we can’t install our own plugins here at WordPress.com, and I do not know of any way to add the FB events to a site here at WordPress.com. It would require code that could be a security risk on this multi-user platform.

  I think its a wordpress plugin, but I’ve got a feeling that its only for premium membership. But you can definetly provide a link between the 2 sites.

  Rhia, I’m not seeing any FB events plugin for Premium or Business plan users here at WordPress.com. In general, plugins are for self-hosted WordPress installations where you host your own site using the software from WordPress.org on a different web host.

  The differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org.

  I would suggest posting a request for a FB Events widget in the Ideas Forum so that we can discuss and consider adding one.
