Adding Facebook Like box

  Hi all,
  Hoping someone might be able to help.
  I want to add a Facebook ‘Like’ box to my blog so that readers can click when they like an artcile. Is this possible? I haven’t been able to find info on this. Thanks.

  Hi. You can’t add the Facebook Like Box here on WordPress.com due to code restrictions. The only known workarounds are described here, one of them being the Facebook Badge:

  P. S. I don’t blame you for not finding the information, as the forum’s search engine is quite deficient…

  I believe that there are two Facebook button options in the Sharing settings, one of them is the “Like” button.

  Also you can’t put the Like Box on your blog but you can put an hyperlinked image in the widget area or an hyperlinked text to your facebook page.

  If you check out my blog you’ll notice that I have an hyperlink to its facebook page.
