Adding Facebook "like" to your page

    I’ve tried using the text widget to paste in the facebook button code but it keeps displaying the actual code on my page rather than the button? Clearly I’m doing something wrong, help please!

    That is because the code facebook gives is not allowed here for security reasons.

    If you go to appearance > widgets you will find that in the “available widgets” section, there is a facebook like box widget that is very easy to configure.
