Adding Favicon to Spun Theme & how do add SEO by Yoast?

Hello! I’m looking for assistance in adding/editing the current favicon for my website and I’m using the Spun Theme. I searched through several forums and I found that it is not possible (author posted it a year ago) and she suggested a plugin. But I’m not sure how, or where I would access that plugin.
I’m also having a hard time adding SEO by Yoast. I upgraded to premium yet I’m still not ‘allowed’ to access other plugins not offered by the author.

Hi there. You can add or change your favicon/blavatar under Settings ->General in the dashboard. Blavatar images are cached, so it could take a few days before the image appears in your browser tab. Please don’t keep uploading it if it doesn’t appear immediately. http://en.support.wordpress.com/avatars/blavatars/

We do not have the ability to install plugins on WordPress.com, and there is NO upgrade that grants this ability. If you were on a support forum that told you to install plugins it wasn’t this forum. If you want to use plugins you need to set up a self-hosted website using the WordPress.ORG software, with all the additional responsibility that implies:

The bottom line here is do not ever post into a technical support thread at all unless you are convinced you have a correct answer to the question posed and you can back it up with links to support docs or to correct responses in other forum threads.Promote you blog on social networks only. Avoid all link dropping blog promotion activity when you comment on anyone’s blog posts too. Post only meaningful and relevant comments that are focused on the post content and expand the knowledge base to encourage more discussion.
Also note that your country is the home of many email scammers and spammers too and the rest of the world is keenly aware of that. Hence you online behavior has to be above board at all times.
