Adding feature image and audio

  I am trying to add a feature image/thumbnail but don’t know how to add it to the Media Library from my desktop. Also wanting to ad an audio file.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  See the Featured Images support page for information and instructions. It isn’t necessary to add the image to the media library first. It can be uploaded from an external file directly to a post or page and set as a featured image. Doing so will add it to the media library.

  The Media Library support page says:

  You can also upload new files to your Media Library using Media → Add New.

  and includes an image demonstrating where the Add New link is. However, the link in that sentence confusingly goes to the Add Media support page, which does not include directions for adding media directly to the media library.
