Adding featured posts to header of Dyad 2 in WordPress.org

  I am using Dyad 2 in WordPress.com but I’m thinking about moving to WordPress.org to self host. I love Dyad 2 and downloaded it and am using it on my WordPress.org site on Josephwood.blog. The problem is that I am not seeing any option to set a tag to use for featured posts on the header. Is this just a WordPress.com feature? Thanks.

  Hi there,

  With the self-hosted version, you’ll need to install Jetpack to use the featured content option.

  = How do I set up the Featured Content slider? =

  The Featured Content slider can be seen on the theme’s demo site, https://dyad2demo.wordpress.com/?demo. To add to your site:

  1. Install and activate the Jetpack plugin.

  2. Go to Customizer > Featured Content from the WP Admin Dashboard. Enter a tag that you would like to use on Featured Content posts. For example, you could use the tag ‘featured’.

  3. Add that tag on posts on your website and they will appear in the Featured Content slider. Note: only tagged posts with a Featured Image in the slider.
