Adding files, not link

  I would like to add a powerpoint file to a wordpress site. It is on our corporate file storage, not a web site, so it does not have a URL I can link to. Is this possible? I have looked at the Topics, FAQ, etc.

  To add a PowerPoint document to your site, you’ll need to upload it to your blog’s Media Library. You can do this by heading over to your Dashboard -> Media Library -> Add New page:
