Adding form elements?

  I wanted to add a checkbox next to my points so people could check off when they’ve finished that step. The preview showed the checkboxes, but publishing took them all off. Is this a limitation of publishing on wordpress.com?

  I would post the code I used here, except I’m pretty sure it would not be allowed. Essentially, I used the form html for input with type of checkbox, and left name blank. Nothing else. Just the checkbox.
