    Hello,

I created a Genesis theme on my local drive. I want to get a business plan with you and load the genesis framework and the custom theme. Will you allow this?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That is not possible as themes cannot be transferred between wordpress.com and wordpress.org sites and Genesis can only be used on wordpress.ORG software installs.

Importing existing themes = You cannot do that.

You are confusing wordpress.COM hosted sites like yours and wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting.

The only themes we can use on WordPress.com hosted blogs are licensed and adapted to run on our multiuser software the themes are found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and in your dashboard at > Appearance > Themes

    We cannot:
    upload any third party themes,
    create child themes,
    create our own themes,
    edit templates,
    create own own layouts,
or use stylesheets from other themes.

There is no FTP access to any wordpress.com sites. See:
    Themes »Uploading Custom Themes
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/adding-new-themes/

P.S. Also be keenly aware that you cannot transfer any theme from https://wordpress.com/themes/ which is licensed and adapted to run on WordPress.COM software to a WordPress.ORG site, and visa versa. The two run on different software and have different versions of themes with the same names. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

See Moving from a Self-Hosted WordPress to WordPress.com
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-from-self-hosted-wordpress-to-wordpress-com/

The wordpress.ORG login link is here https://login.wordpress.org/ If you do not have an account yet then click Create an account https://login.wordpress.org/register/ and if you have lost an account password click Lost password? https://login.wordpress.org/lostpassword/

I want to get a business plan

WordPress.com provides free blogs and hosts them free of charge. There are no bandwidth charges. All WordPress.com blogs come with 3000 megabytes (~3 GBs) of space for storing uploaded files and images. Free features are listed here https://en.wordpress.com/features/

We have 4 different plans: free, personal, premium and business. All hosting is free regardless of which plan you choose. You can view all wordpress.com plan features here https://wordpress.com/pricing/ Add a plan for each of your sites here: http://store.wordpress.com/plans/.

Premium upgrades do not include any premium themes which are all individually priced one time upgrades.

The Business upgrade includes access to all premium themes but also note that there is no e-commerce capability under any plan here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/small-business-website-1?replies=2#post-2804631.

WordPress.com does not accept domain transfers but mapping an existing domain is possible. http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

The domain or mapping of any existing domain URL is included in the pricing for a personal upgrade, a premium and a business upgrade. The WordPress.COM upgrade for mapping a domain must be renewed annually.

WordPress.com does not provide an email service for blogs on their sub domains or on custom domains. Please see these support docs
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/add-email/
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-forwarding/

OK well then this is not the right option for us we need control over things. Plus the 300 a year is actually kinda crazy when you think about it and you have no control. Thanks anyway

    Hi there,
We cannot do this for you; you have to act on what follows.

Please deal with the site(s) first.

To delete a WordPress.COM hosted blog you must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog to navigate to Dashboard > Tools > Delete Site. The guide is here http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

    https://wordpress.com/settings/delete-site/NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com

*Replace “NAME_OF_BLOG” with the actual name of the blog in the URL above.

If you are not logged in under the correct username account then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies prior to logging into another account

If the log-in information is lost you need to visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

    Read also: Account Recovery https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/

Be aware that deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made except for the one stated here http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

Here’s how to deactivate your account:

Although username accounts are not deleted, so you cannot be impersonated and have your reputation affected by anyone registering the same username in the future, there are steps you can take that amount to removing all personal information and result in leaving only a throwaway email address behind. http://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/

    1. You can go to My Account->Edit Profile at https://wordpress.com/me/account and remove all data except the account name and an email address. Create a throwaway email address and change the account email to that throwaway address. This only leaves the username behind.

    2. To unsubscribe from email sent to you from WordPress.com, go here and click on “Block all subscription emails from WordPress.com”:
    https://wordpress.com/settings/notifications/

    3. To ensure the account is locked up tightly, visit this site, generate a password of 15-20 characters, and change the account password to it:
    http://www.thebitmill.com/tools/password.html

    4. To hide your Gravatar profile, login and on the bottom right hand corner of your Gravatar profile page you will find a “hide” button visible only to you that you can click. http://en.gravatar.com/support/profile-privacy

IMPORTANT NOTE: Deleting blogs and/or blog content or making the site private does not remove indexed content from the SERPs (search engine page results) and we cannot help with that. Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 – 6 months. To completely remove an entire page from Google search results after it produces a 404 (page not found):
