How do I add animated gifs to my posts??
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can upload image files in two ways: by going to Media → Add New from your dashboard http://en.support.wordpress.com/media/media-add-new/ or by clicking the new Add Media button right above the editing area of a page or a post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/add-media/

For troubleshooting see http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/troubleshooting-images/
Special note re: uploading a .gif image. You must presize the gif to the exact size required prior to uploading it. If you crop it after uploading it then it will not display.

What is the size required?? I am new to this! I usually just use Goodreads where you insert the link with an html code.

This is the guide for the only goodreads widget we can use on our blogs at WordPress.com http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/goodreads-widget/ Is that the guide you are using?

I have that one! I just meant, to post my reviews on here with the same content. How do I know what the required size is that you mentioned? We don’t have to resize when posting on Goodreads so I don’t know how to do that here.

Every blog posts or page area has a maximum displayed image width.

Every sidebar has a limited width as well. -
For a very clear and simple to follow explanation of how to make animated gifs in Photoshop see here > http://photographworks.wordpress.com/2012/12/22/how-big-am-i-gif-jpeg-png/

What about them? You will need to resize each one to fit wherever you intend ti upload it into on your blog. By analogy one cannot park a Mac truck and semi trailer unit in a Vespa sized parking space.
