Adding Google Adsense

  I am struggling to convert my blog from Typepad to WordPress.com. I’ve imported all the old stuff and am making good progress. However, I can see no way of adding a Google Adsense banner advertisement. Can anyone point me in the right direction. At the moment I have not activated any of the premium features and am using a holding them.

  Thanks for this. A bit disappointing and I might have to revise my plans. Pity, because I much prefer the appearance of the WordPress.com sites in general.

  Check out WordPress.org. You’ll have to pay for hosting somewhere, but they are WordPress. Just without the restrictions.

  I’m currently exploring GoDaddy and waiting for a response from them. Hopefully this will solve my problems. I don’t mind paying for hosting (I am paying at the moment, of course) but I’d like maximum flexibility without restrictions. Thanks for your input.
