Adding Google Analytics

I watched several YouTube videos on how to add my GA information to my WordPress blog. I don’t have access to what they are showing me, however, such as ‘Themes’, ‘Editor’,…..or….’Settings’, ‘Anayltics’. I have just created a GA account and have the code, don’t know where to go on the backend of my WP site to put it. Also, I want it on every blog post not just the home page. Please help and thank you :) I searched this forum and again, the suggestions aren’t things I am able to do in my backend of my site.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Do you have wordpress.com business acct. ? If so you can add the Analytics tracking code by going to admin page, settings tab & click on Google Analytics, then once in put the tracking code where it tells you & save. If its a free acct. I don’t think you can.

I have a free account because it’s just me and my mom who reads it right now lol. But that would explain the restriction. Thanks ldrummer. With those YouTube videos mentioned that detail……

I just checked & if you have the free OR Premium account Analytics is not available. Good Luck…

Yea if you go to the dashboard page & then lick on upgrade under the 3 types of plans there’s a small blue tab that says compare & click on that & it will show you what each plan has. I have the Business acct. but even w/ it I can use Google adsense because I would have to migrate my site to another host even though it would still be w/ WordPress i would no longer have a WP.com site but instead a WP.org then I could do anything I wanted. it’s not very much more to do that once you have the Business plan.

you have a nice site. I have a Sports Blog. I have fun w/ it & its a cool way to throw in my two cents worth on Sports topics lol. I upgraded to Business from the premium plan mainly because w/ the B plan you get unlimited space & that way I don’t have to trash my older articles due to lack of space. my site is whatsonyoursportsmind.com

that’s a good point re:space. I just started using Flickr to embed images to get around some space issues. Night!
