Adding Google meta tag

  I don’t have the option to add a meta tag from Google on my site. Line 6 of WordPress’s Webmaster Tools says:

  Open the Tools Page and paste the code in the appropriate field.

  There is no appropriate field on the Tools page for me. What am I missing??

  Are you asking about a blog hosted on wordpress.com, i.e. URL=blogname.wordpress.com?
