Adding Google Tag Manager snippet to my site
-
I am trying to track my site’s stats through Google Tag Manager, and it is saying I need to add “code” to each page of my site just after the <body> tags. However, I can’t quite seem how to figure this out. Can you help me? I’ve read through all of the forums and I don’t have the plugin tab, so that isn’t an option. Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

On WordPress.com blogs you can’t :
a) use plugins
https://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/b) add that code, because you don’t have access to <body> tags.
-
Then how do I switch it from being a blog? I already have already bought a domain (birdbrothersmoving.com) and thought that is all I needed to do. Is there a step I’m missing?

If you’d like access to site code etc you need to go self hosted with WordPress.org instead of WordPress.com. You can find out more about the differences here: support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org
Then you will have access to plugins etc…
Thanks,

Thanks, but I know the differences and I already have a host, and I’ve downloaded WP, but that doesn’t seem to change anything. What should be my next step in converting my current site from a wordpress.com site to a wordpress.org site?

If you are hosted anywhere other than WordPress.com, you are in the wrong forum and need to ask at WordPress.org for help with that.
