adding google verification code

  guys I need to verify my website with google by adding a metatag
  <meta name=”google-site-verification” content=”nnTLNZ3F3c6rRN5CqZRV0xmKVcN1F8obiKupdbsw09k” />

  it seems when I put in to the editor it does not save and I can’t find a way to put it into the code? I can see where to by using the ‘inspect element’ right click on the webiste but damned if I can work out how to place it and save it.
