Adding Google Verification Meta Tag to Homepage

  In order to establish an e-mail address such us (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  I am asked by google to add a Google Verification Meta Tag (that they have provided) to my Homepage. As far as I anderstood, this is for veryfiyng my ownership of the website.

  I tried, but I am not able to do it. I can not find where to insert the metatag.
  Can you please help me?
