Adding Horizontal Mail Chimp form to footer
-
I am new to CSS … anyone know how where to add the code to input a signup form in the footer?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

CSS will not input a signup form. Also, you cannot customize like that with WordPress.com without paying for premium features. The best way to do this on WordPress.com is to use a Text Widget in the footer and put the HTML code for the form in there.

Have a look at this thread to see how someone else has managed to work their way around this issue before – I found it on the MailChimp help page so it should help you out!

While you could use the method suggested there; I have found that the more clicks you have someone do, the less likely you are to get the result you want. You are better off creating a text widget with the html for the form as supplied by Mail Chimp.

Hi @ariwinokur, there are limits on the HTML code that can be used here at WordPress.com as outlined here. The mailchimp code that is typically available is HTML form code, which is not allowed here.
