Adding htm files to wordpress site
-
I am building a new site for a non-profit board. I have about 75 “.htm” files that are meeting minutes and I want to add these to the wordpress site as-is. So I created a page to put links to the files, and I created a folder called /meetingminutes/ at the same level as the wp-admin folder. It works, but wordpress is adding a link at the bottom of my htm pages which says, “Back to “Minutes”, which is the name of the page that I created with the links on it. When I click on the back to minutes link, I get a 404 error. Any ideas about the right way to do this?

Hi there. I think you are in the wrong forum. This forum is only for free WordPress.com blogs and we don’t have any FTP access to our sites. http://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/
Seeing as you do, you are most likely using the WordPress.ORG software. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and different: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
Please visit the WordPress.org support forum for assistance as we won’t be able to help you here: http://wordpress.org/support/ If you don’t already have a username on that forum, click the register button in the upper right corner so you can post in that forum.
