Adding Image to Header

Can anyone tell me if and how you can add an image to the header? I am a real newbie and just learning wordpress so please provide as much detail as possible and do not assume that I know much of anything. Thanks

Because Kubrick is the wordpress default theme it’s being used on too many blogs to count. Because the theme features rounded corners some bloggers have difficulty making custom image headers for the theme. However, there is a Kubrick header generator that is very good found here http://weblogtoolscollection.com/archives/2008/04/10/kubrick-header-generator/
