  What does this mean and how do I get rid of it and add images?

  Unable to create directory uploads/2017/08. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

  Hi there,

  I checked your site. It is not hosted on WordPress.com. Based on this info, I assume you are WordPress.org user.

  This forum is dedicated to WordPress.com.

  I tried searching your error. If you have changed your server recently, it appears this maybe the cause of the issue. This can be resolved by changing the upload path to that of the new server in Settings/Media.
