Hi there,
I’m not sure what you are trying to set up. Can you tell us more about where you are trying to place your images? is this an issue with a specific page or blog post you are working on? If so please share a link so we can take a closer look, thanks!

Hi,
Thank you for coming back so quickly.
If you go to my site writerquillman.wordpress.com you will see on the latest page
“Is testing on Animals Morally Wrong?” the image of two rabbits is at the foot of the page. I would like to move the image in the text as on all of my earlier pages.
I had no problems with those pages, but you seem to have changed the procedure.

Thanks for the example. The method you would use, when writing in the block editor:
- Insert the image above the paragraph you wish it to appear beside.
- Use the image alignment settings to set the image to left- or right-aligned:
https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/image-block/#align-images - Continue typing the paragraph
There’s a more complete guide for this process here:
https://wordpress.com/support/images/image-alignment/ -
Thanks,
I think I understand what to do.
However, can you tell me how I can delete an image (Not replace, delete.)
Thanks -
Are you wanting to delete the image from the library or just in the block editor? These are 2 different processes.
Keep in mind, that when you delete an image out of the media library that same image will no longer work anywhere that it’s been used on the site. Instead of the image folks will see a broken image symbol.

Hi
I want to remove an image from a page on my site. I wish to re-write the content and put a different image on it. -
Understood! While you are editing the page, when you click on the image to bring up the image block toolbar there should be a “Replace” button in the toolbar. You can click that to open your Media library and choose which image you want to display in place of the current image.
There’s a screenshot showing the “Replace” button in this section of the Image block guide:
https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/image-block/#block-toolbarIf you want to fully remove the current Image block and re-add a new Image block in its stead, you can do that too. Clicking the three-dot button on the right side of that block toolbar (also shown at the link above) will open up an additional menu. There is a “remove” option at the bottom of the additional menu.
However if you’re primarily wanting to swap one image for another in the same location, I think the “Replace” button could be handy.

Thanks for this and thanks for all the help you have given me over the last few days.
Well done
