Adding Images

  Just signed up for the site

  Is there any way off adding all the images into a post at the same time rather than going to every one and inserting into post ?

  No there isn’t any means of bulk loading images into a post or page. You can bulk upload images into the Media Library only. With wordpress’s flash uploader (which is the default, you can choose multiple images to upload, although I would typically suggest keeping it to 10 or less at a time. Sometimes with slow internet connections it will produce a timeout and not all the images will upload.

  Also note that if you do not optimize and presize your images to “fit” onto the maximum displayed image width of your theme then you will be wasting your media space. n Lastly, note that image quality is lost when the cropper comes into play.

  Sorry…I just want to be able to add multiple images into a post without going to everyone and having to click insert etc

  Is there anyway i can do this ?

  We can only answer questions about WordPress.COM sites, and that’s not one of them.

  At WordPress.com you can do it using the Flash uploader.

  What i want to do is when i have uploaded the images to put them all in the post at the same time…Rather than doing each one individually.

  Once they are in the Media Library you can add them as a Gallery or Slideshow though.

  Yes there is: that’s what the gallery feature does (as raincoaster suggested). See here:

  So if i have got images already in a gallery…How do i add more to it ? Maybe at a later date ?

  Open the post in the editor, add the additional images and then update the post and the gallery will update and show the new images.

  Right I think I have got it…So you add a gallery then you add the images into that if you want more than a few ?

  Normally a gallery displays all the images “attached” to a post; that is, all the images uploaded from your computer via the Add Media button of that post.
