Adding images via URL

  Hi! I have a little problem with adding images via URL. I currently blog on the new editor but I can only add images starting with ‘https’. I upload my photos on photobucket and their links are ‘http’ only. Thus I have to switch to the old editor, add photos, and then come back to the new one (I like the new one). Is there any way to work around this? Thanks!

  @mmeeshell all of our sites are secured by https. If you’re linking in http images, that breaks your encryption, so we convert them to https for you by adding them here.

  Have you thought about simply uploading the images to your site?

  I would, but the free space is too little. I blog for fun and don’t earn any money from it. Thanks though! =)

  @mmeeshell you’re using 0% of your free space right now. If you avoid uploading full resolution images you’ll be fine.
