  Hello! Is it possible to add Instagram to the sidebar? Thanks!

  I have the same question. The simple answer is yes. But the next question is how?

  But then, plugins are not allowed in the free version of WordPress.

  My question then is: If I do not intend to buy the WordPress Value Bundle, which upgrade should I buy for me to install plugins?

  NONE.

  There is no upgrade at wp.com including the $30,000 per year VIP upgrade that allows plugins.

  but you don’t need plugins. You just need to use the Flickr widget and put in the info for your Instagram account instead. Free.
