Adding last.fm playlist
-
I am new to WordPress, and am creating a website using WP. I would like to add a playlist from last.fm to my site, and have not been able to figure this one out.
Any input on how to make this happen would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I don’t know exactly what the use for code. If it is flash, then it can probably be used with the gigya shortcode here, but we would have to see the code. If you can paste it here between code tags, we can take a look.

There is a very old workaround dated 2008. I cannot guarantee that it still works. If you wish to try it here’s the link. http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2008/05/12/lastfm-and-project-playlist-for-wordpresscom/ -
To thesacredpath: Thanks for your response. I know I must seem appallingly ignorant for saying this, but I have no idea where I would find the code.
To timethief: Thank you. I will check on this.
I’ve found several things around the web, but none that really seemed to address the issue with WordPress in a straightforward way. (Of course, again I am very new to this and don’t know much yet.)

When you are on the web do beawre that unles what you read specifically states wordpress.COM, whatever you are reading applies to wordpress.ORG only. The two run on different software and this confuses many people. For a clear comprehension of the differences between them I suggest reading > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

@bkentanderson, at last.fm, in your account there, there should be a place where you can get the embed code for the playlist. It has been years since I was on last.fm so I can’t give you much guidance on where to find it, but it should be there.
