Adding line of code to blog homepage for Google

Have seen this question asked in earlier threads, but have seen no answers. Is this do-able for a WordPress.com blog?
This is the line of code:

By “adding line of code”, do you mean adding a link to your Google+ profile? If so, yes you can add hyperlinks in a text widget.

This is what Google + told me:
By adding a short line of code to http://larrysmusings.com, you can make your Google+ page eligible to show up on the right hand side of the Google search page for relevant queries and make your Google+ page more discoverable.
Ask your site’s webmaster to add the following line of code to your site’s homepage:
then it gives a line of code.

Ok, I checked the Google+ widget on your blog.
You can make it a bit catchy like “Connect with me on Google+” or something like that. Currently it just says Google+.
Also you reorder Google+ widget to the top so it is noticeable.
Anyway, these are just suggestions. Feel free to do what you think is best for your blog :-)
