Adding links to blogroll

  I am trying to add a link from Smart Girl Politics to my blogroll. It loads about halfway then stops. I have Safari version 5.1.2

  Please excuse my computer illiterateness. The address bar turns blue as a web page loads. It has to turn blue all the way down before a page comes up. When I try to put in the U R L for Smart Girl Politics, using the add a link page from my Word Press dashboard it only goes halfway then stops. I’m really not sure how to explain it.
